Hey,
Two years ago —
I was walking every single day.
Same route. Same time. Same shoes.
And the scale — did not move.
For 6 weeks straight.
I remember standing on it one morning —
Staring at the same number —
Thinking —
"What is the point?"
That day — I almost stopped.
Not because I was lazy.
Because I genuinely believed —
The walking was not working.
I was wrong.
And understanding exactly how I was wrong —
Changed everything.
Here is what was actually happening inside my body —
Every single walk I took —
My heart was getting stronger.
Quietly. Invisibly.
My blood vessels were expanding — improving circulation.
My insulin sensitivity was improving — my body was getting better at processing food.
My mitochondria — the energy factories inside your cells — were multiplying.
My body was transforming from the inside.
The scale just could not measure any of it.
The scale measures one thing —
Gravity's relationship with your total mass.
It does not measure —
Heart strength. Lung capacity. Energy levels. Blood sugar stability. Cellular health. Inflammation reduction. Mental clarity.
All of which were improving —
With every single walk I took.
Think about the last time you walked and felt like it was not working.
Maybe you checked the scale and felt disappointed.
Maybe you felt like nothing was changing.
But here is what I want you to consider —
What if your body was keeping score — even when you were not?
What if every step you took was depositing something —
Into an account you cannot see —
That one day — you will suddenly be able to withdraw from?
That is exactly what happened to me.
Around week 8 —
The scale moved.
Not a little.
Three kilograms. In two weeks.
After 6 weeks of nothing.
The body had been working the whole time.
It was just not ready to show me yet.
So if you are walking —
And the scale is not moving —
Do not stop.
Your body is not ignoring you.
It is preparing something.
Keep going. 🙏
One thing this week —
Every time you finish a walk —
Instead of checking the scale —
Ask yourself one question —
"How do I feel compared to 30 days ago?"
That answer is the real measurement.
Reply and tell me yours. 💪
See you Thursday! 🙏

P.S. — The scale is a terrible judge of progress. Your energy, your sleep, your mood, your breath on stairs — those are the real numbers. Trust those first. 🙏
