Hi!,

Let me ask you something.

Have you ever followed your diet perfectly for a week — exercised daily — and then stepped on the scale only to find the number had not moved?

I have. Many times.

And it almost made me quit.

Today I want to tell you why the scale lied to me — and why it is probably lying to you too.

⚖️ Why The Scale Number Does Not Tell The Full Story

Your body weight is made up of many things —

  • Fat mass

  • Muscle mass

  • Water weight

  • Food in digestive system

  • Bone density

  • Organ weight

When you diet and exercise — fat decreases.

But simultaneously —

Muscle increases. Muscle weighs more than fat per volume. Water fluctuates. One extra glass of water = 1kg on scale. Food weight varies. A heavy meal can show 1-2kg extra temporarily.

So the scale number can stay the same — or even go up — while you are actually losing fat and getting healthier.

📊 My Real Experience

During my 25KG weight loss journey — there were weeks where the scale did not move at all.

I was walking 10,000 steps daily. Eating right. Sleeping well.

But the number stayed the same for 10-12 days straight.

I almost stopped.

Then I noticed something else —

My clothes were getting looser. My energy was higher. My face looked slimmer.

The fat was going — the scale just was not showing it yet.

This is called a weight loss plateau — and it happens to everyone.

What To Track Instead Of Just Weight

Track these 4 things every week —

1. Clothes fit — Are they getting looser?

2. Energy levels — Do you feel better?

3. Photos — Take a weekly photo — compare monthly

4. Measurements — Waist, chest, hips — these show fat loss clearly

The scale is just one data point.

Your body is changing even when the scale says otherwise.

Trust the process. Trust your habits. The number will follow. 🙏

🎯 This Week's Action

Stop weighing yourself daily.

Weigh yourself once a week — same day, same time, same conditions.

Monday morning — after bathroom — before breakfast.

That is your only weigh-in of the week.

Everything else — focus on habits. Not numbers. 💪

See you Monday! 🌅
