Hey,

📊 The 3 Reasons Walking Stops Working
Reason 1 — Compensation eating Exercise makes you hungry. Most people eat more than they burned. Fix — eat the same amount on walk days as non-walk days.
Reason 2 — Reduced movement rest of day Subconscious — "I already walked — I can rest now." Your NEAT drops — cancelling the walk benefit completely. Fix — stay active rest of the day too.
Reason 3 — Same walk every day Your body adapts to the same route, same pace, same duration. After 3-4 weeks — same walk burns 30% fewer calories. Fix — increase steps, add inclines, vary pace.
✅ What I Told My Neighbour
Three simple changes —
1. Eat breakfast before walking — not after. Reduces post-walk hunger.
2. After walking — do not sit immediately. Stay on feet for 30 more minutes.
3. Every week — add 500 more steps OR increase pace for 10 minutes.
Small changes. Same time commitment. Very different results.
