Hi,
Last weekend, I participated in a marathon event.
(No, I didn’t suddenly become a hardcore runner 😊)
I want to share why I chose to be there—and why it matters even if your primary fitness habit is walking.

Participated SBI Green Marathon at Ahmedabad
For most people, a marathon looks like:
• Speed
• Endurance
• Extreme fitness
But for me, it represents something deeper:
Commitment to showing up.
A marathon isn’t won on race day.
It’s earned in the weeks of:
• daily movement
• early mornings
• uncomfortable consistency
And that’s exactly what walking teaches us.
You don’t need to run marathons to lose fat.
You don’t need to chase medals to get healthy.
But participating in events like this:
• builds mental strength
• reinforces discipline
• reminds us why daily movement matters
Walking is where fitness starts.
Events like marathons remind us why we keep going.
If you’re walking every day—even 20–30 minutes—you are already training your mind:
• to be consistent
• to respect your body
• to trust slow progress
That’s real fitness.
So whether you walk, jog, or someday participate in an event—remember this:
👉 Health is built daily. Celebrations just make it visible.
Keep walking.
Keep showing up.
