But this week — I want to talk about something that almost stopped me before I even started.

A mistake so common — almost everyone making it right now does not even realise it.

The Biggest Mistake People Make In Weight Loss

It is not eating too much.

It is not skipping the gym.

It is not lack of motivation.

The biggest mistake is — waiting for the perfect moment to start.

"I will start from Monday." "I will start after this project is done." "I will start when things settle down."

Sound familiar?

I said all of these things too.

For years.

And those years? They added 25KG to my body.

🔍 Why We Wait — The Real Psychology

Our brain is wired to seek comfort and avoid discomfort.

Starting something new — especially something as challenging as a weight loss journey — feels uncomfortable.

So our brain does something clever.

It gives us a logical sounding excuse to delay.

"Monday is a better day to start." "This week is too busy." "I need to research more first."

These are not reasons. These are your brain protecting you from discomfort.

And every time you listen to it — the weight stays. The habit never builds. The journey never begins.

💡 What I Did Differently

I stopped waiting for Monday.

I stopped waiting for the right shoes, the right weather, the right mood.

On one random Wednesday evening — I just walked.

Not 10,000 steps. Not even 5,000.

Just walked to the end of my street and back.

That was Day 1.

200+ days later — I have lost 25KG and run a 10KM marathon.

It all started on a random Wednesday. Not a Monday. Not January 1st. Not after vacation.

Just a random Wednesday. 🙏

This Week's Action For You

Do not wait for Monday.

Today — right now — after reading this email — go for a 10 minute walk.

Not 10,000 steps. Not 5KM.

Just 10 minutes.

That is your Day 1.

The only difference between where you are and where you want to be — is that first step.
